Question: By the way in 2022 did you own any rental properties in town.
Cardone answer: Did I yes I did!
Question: How many?
Cardone answer: One
Question: Just one?
Cardone answer: Just one.
Question: In 2023 did you own more than one?
Cardone answer: No.
Look at the County document for Cardine below showing at least three properties at the time the law went into effect.
After seeing all this information, if he’s willing to lie to a federal jury. Are you next?
Now here’s where he lied again on page 91.
Question: Did you know that Mr Mitts and M. Lee manages MULTIPLE PROPERTIES owned by Ms Lee when the law was passed?
Cardone answer: Yes
Two lines down he changes his answer and says “the only property I knew he had at the point he was called Rest Haven.”
Question: Did you know if Miss Lee owned properties in town?
Cardone answer: I did not.
He purposely says “properties” then says one property. What is the correct answer?
Do you think you would be willing to lie to you to keep his $200,000 a year job?
I don’t know what it takes, but I think the Board of Elections should disqualify Cardone from running for reelection. If he’s willing to lie to a federal jury and signed an oath that uphold the United States Constitution while violating it. This is a serious consequence for Monroe that we could lose things just because of his lies!
The biggest issue is that Cardone admitted that the law was unconstitutional. He even admitted that they repealed the law because they knew it was in fact originally unconstitutional.
While this is a full admission and cannot be appealed. The money damage is being appealed because Cardone lied during his testimony!!
